THE ANNE HATHAWAY HOUSE

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! This is the best place I have stayed at in Ashland and I have been coming here for more than 20 years. So Spacious. Beautiful front porch, dining room, living room, and kitchen space to hang out and visit in a big group. Lots of corners and bedrooms off to the side for folks that needed a quiet nap. We loved it!

I can not say enough good things about this house. We had this as the site for a family reunion and it could not have been more perfect. The house is beautiful and quaint. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for feeding a big group. The bedrooms are all lovely and there were plenty of bathrooms (essential for big groups). Plus, the gardens were just stunning. Add to that the easy walk to Ashland’s main street and the theaters. Our family could not stop raving about how lovely the setting was.

What a great place to gather a large group for cooking, eating, conversing, playing games, doing jig saw puzzles, and playing music. My extended family came to Ashland to bury our beloved mother in the green conservation burial ground nearby, staying three days, and could not have been more comfortable. The kitchen never failed us, being exceedingly well supplied. The art on the wall, the books on the shelves, and the furnishings were all tasteful and contributed greatly to our comfort and healing.

It was a great place for a family gathering. Table big enough to eat together. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. There was 8 bedrooms with a full bathroom in each. Safeway was right across the street which was very helpful. The host was very helpful and flexible! We would recommend to anyone looking for a homey gathering place.
